Spent Saturday doing a little shopping in Martinez. After a dealer showed me his "rare" Trader Vic's Redwing Skull mug for $125.00 and his rare speckled Trader Vic's Fogcutter mug with the 1963 date stamp on the bottom for $85.00, I spied these Moai mugs from Tiki Farm made in 2001. Since I already had the others, I bought these. The price was way lower! Couldn't go to Alameda without a stop at FI! Had never heard of or been to Tiki Tom's, found it by accident and decided to have dinner there on Saturday night. Great food, don't know about the drinks because I was the DD. Ran into Uncle Fun and bought his Banana Boat and the Derek Yaniger Papa Ubangi Decanters, however these were filled with Uncle Fun's homemade rum! Drank about 1/3 of one at the hotel, whew, strong, strange and wrong, in the right way! Maybe that is why I missed the McPhee velvet today? Sun Hung Heung San Francisco bucket mug. Crazy Al mug 1996. Coco Joe's hapawood tiki lighter. Westwood tiki lamp. Have not bought one of these in awhile, but I liked the size and expression on this one, plus no one has painted it. Nine Islander earring and one Islander black peanut mugs from the same seller. Made me a deal I couldn't refuse! Like Liz and Cool Manchu, saw lots of overpriced items and very common ones.
