In a kind of short cut Zombie recipe that appeared in the NY Times a few years ago, Beachbum Berry suggested mixing a dark Jamaican rum like Meyers with Bacardi 151 as a Demerera substitute. Have you tried looking for El Dorado 151 Demerera someplace closer by? I live in NY and had the same problem getting Lemon Hart shipped to me, but I found a place in NJ that would ship me El Dorado 151. |
