So, the soonest that it could happen would be mid September, because the Council is on summer recess following the July 28th Council meeting. All the city folks we've spoken with are still very much in favor of the resolution, especially Rebecca Kaplan. Personally, I think that by her drafting the Mai Tai DAY resolution, she's putting it out there and hoping to convince her fellow city council members to pass the Official Cocktail resolution come post-summer recess.
