These two actually were sold together, though probably either in wood OR plaster pairings, by Paul Marshall Products and others:

...and a vintage Val Surf ad from the BOT, probably making them the first Tikis used on T-shirts ever:

The "Surf God(ess)" was made in larger versions, and found in Tiki temples like The Polynesia, and Trader Vic's, as sand ash trays.

I would never paint original vintage Tikis. Maybe touch them up, but leave them in the state they came in.
