If I recall correctly the servers and bartenders were all women and were paid $24.00 a week plus tips. That would be about $150.00 to $175.00 a week. They were considered being highly paid each week. I made $1.17 an hour. Can you believe that? It's hard to believe that it used to be that way in 1968. "Mad Men" All of the valet were guys, Chef's were men, and Bus boys were what they were.
