What a strange notion. I have always felt that these masks were extremely well conceived and balanced in their design, expertly manufactured and lit, very much in a nouveau Tiki Modern style, even before Tiki Modern came out. A lot of labor must go into them, and if they can command artist's prices, good for them. Granted, it's not an entirely new concept, Bosko was the first to use the down-to-the-basics/modernist lines concept, but these masks, as they appeared on Tiki Central over the years, were always a fresh and creative take on the genre. I'm glad they are finding appreciative homes. Why would anyone try to undermine that?
