Here's a walking map. We've walked it from Trader Vic's back to the Phoenix, in past tiki crawls, when Trader Vic's was still open on Golden Gate, and the Phoenix was our anchor hotel. It's pretty much the same route. Although the Tenderloin can be sketchy, it's not quite as bad as it used to be. We felt fairly safe in a larger size walking group that late at night. And for those that are really concerned about it, cabs should be plentiful in that area. Woody, late night pool party shenanigans at the Phoenix sound like a plan! Cannonball!
