I did some work for Daniel Lanois when he built a recording studio at "Theatro", an abandoned movie theater in Oxnard, CA. Very nice guy, produced Peter Gabriel, U2, Neville Brothers, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Chris Whitley,etc.

Only a couple of surprise sightings:
David Crosby in line for food at La Super Rica Taqueria in Santa Barbara, David Lee Roth at Marie Callendar's in Pasadena, Michael Anthony at Kimo's in Maui, and Graham Nash at Fry's Electronics in Woodland Hills.
