I just found this searchable online version of Melville's "Typee" based upon his own experiences in Marquesas Islands in the 1840s. This book has been recommended in a previous thread but if you have not read it go get yourself a copy! http://www.online-literature.com/melville/typee/ Unfortunately, there is no spam in the story! |
