And here's some moa: Perez Prado's Exotica Suite: Sometimes the renderings are done by less professional artists: Who is Martha L. Boltz you ask? Well, a member of the Boltz Family, of course!: Somtimes the artists get a little too intellectual: Now we are talking: Sorry, I had to show the front cover for that one: ...because of this ingenious detail!: This is cheating a little: Some CD re-issue companies like Scamp are cool enough to not only use the original cover unaltered, but also the back cover. This Robert Mitchum Calypso art work is one of my favorite back cover renderings of all time, a great example of the style of the genre: I think it's time for Jeff Chenault to get into image posting here... :D [ Edited by: bigbrotiki 2009-11-11 08:15 ] |
