Well, my volcano project is a BUST :( My kiln malfunctioned again and over cooked it. Caused several cracks. The first time this happened, I thought I just had a bad pyrometeric bar (the one-time use bar that bends and shuts the kiln off, come in a box of 50) but now I'm thinking it is something more serious. I'm going to my local (120 miles away) clay store Friday, I'll ask what they think. I like the design of my volcano so I'll try again next week. Don't let the buzzards get you down :)
