Honolulu is the best tiki bar/restaurant within a 300-mile radius of DC and being without it will put a big hole in all our hearts, especially those in the immediate area! Where will we go for a great Mai Tai or Suffering Bastard? (Don't even mention the Politiki!!)I've only been to Honolulu a couple times but I'm sure I'd be a local if it weren’t an hour and a half away! I will definitely make plans to attend a couple upcoming gatherings so that I can remember the decor, the excellent strong drinks, the super friendly owners and the future privilege of saying 'I remember when.'
