Alice and I were racking our brains trying to figure out (for a curious Sven and others) the name of the Hawai'i-based photographer who's image of a hula dancer was shamelessly swiped for use in the mural, and we couldn't come up with it (and we hadn't even started drinking yet!). Consulting my notes, I remembered: Kim Taylor Reece. The image in question is on the cover of one of his books, and also on a bunch of his other swag.
