I did some more research on this place. It is no longer there. I found this bit of information on the web: "In the late 1980s a Winston-Salem location on Knollwood Drive exploded due to a gas leak. The blast occurred while the location was closed so no one was injured." And as for what was built in its place? Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Headquarters. |
