ALO - ho ho ho - HA

Get out yer best Hawaiian shirt or dress, it's Party time !
An Oceanic Odyssey of music, dance, and fun.

Join us in our Pacific Island hide-away off the coast of the imagination.
Three rooms chocked full of modern Pacific Pop, authentic Pacific art, tikis galore, giant carvings, water features, palm trees, velvet paintings, hanging lights, and more than you could poke a bamboo pole at.

As well as rooms full of party goers dressed to the tees, we've invited some old friends to perform for us all and some new friends to joining the fun.

Here's the lowdown ......
(in alphabetical order)

THE ALOHAS
Banging drums, reverb drenched guitars, the trademark twang of the surf sound - all this can mean none other than the Alohas have taken the stage.
One of the Lava Rooms favourite groups, we get many inquiries about these guys, so here they are again.....
So soak up the surf sounds, dance and stomp the night away

BAHAMA MAMAS
For the first time on Lava Rooms stage, mixing electronic sounds, uke and wooden drums to produce a catchy mix of Island sounds, neo-swing, boogie woogie and more. The Andrew sisters never sounded this good.

ELIAS TO ELVIS
Elvis is in the building !
Rocka-A-Hula Baby !
Elias is Sydney's premier Elvis tribute act, performing on our stage for the first time ever.
Remember the album and concert Elvis in Hawaii live via satellite?
Think Elvis in Hawaii, in the early days of his jumpsuit era, before he tired out, looking flash with floral leis.
The King (Elias) will getting the Hawaiian vibes going and performing many of his Hawaiian themed numbers and some other classics.
Elvis is on the island!

OCEANIA PACIFICA

Bringing some real island culture to our event, Lava Rooms is very happy to welcome our friends back again.
Mixing culture with fantastic entertainment, Oceania Pacifica perform a variety of dances from across the Pacific accompanied by live music played on authentic instruments hand crafted by members of the group.
Spectacular dance in dazzling costumes, O.P. are not to be missed.

Where else could you get such an array of fun and talent in one place ?

LIMPIN' JIMMY AND THE SWINGING KITTEN
A stylish and professional couple who brought together the collective resources of a lifetime of musical appreciation to become a formidable team on the Sydney music scene, these guys will have you dancing the night away. Big favourites on the rockabilly scene, but the music doesn't stop there - expect all sorts of treats.

RAUL PA NUI
The hot blooded Latino of the Lava Rooms family, our muchacho of grooves, who has had crowds dancing in many parts of the planet will keep you on the floor and entertained with selections of latin, ska, uptempo lounge and more. Mucho Muchacho !

BRIAN P
Previously ran Rebel Music, a reggae sound system in the U.K. which gave birth to Outernational Hi Fi in the early 90s, mixing danceable sounds from around the globe.
