OK, I'm kidding but this is something I just discovered by chance (and from searching TC, hasn't been pointed out before).

BigBro mentioned on my Jungle-style thread, that Les Baxter scored several Jungle movies. I was researching it on the Internet Movie Database, and noticed that he composed all of the music for the AIP "Beach Party" movies of the mid-1960's.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005958/

  1. Beach Party - 1963
  2. Muscle Beach Party - 1964
  3. Bikini Beach - 1964
  4. Pajama Party - 1964
  5. Beach Blanket Bingo - 1965
  6. How to Stuff a Wild Bikini - 1965
  7. Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine - 1965
  8. The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini - 1966

His name is even mentioned on the poster credits.

Were soundtracks for these movies ever released?

And BTW, the out-of-print "Exotic Moods of Les Baxter" that I gave up a long time ago trying to find for a reasonable price, you can now download it on iTunes. :)
