This mid-century "Sabu-style" coffee shop did them up right. Understandably the Black community was offended by the name which lead to protests and lawsuits in the 1970's. Goodbye Sambo's !! But hey remember "Little Black Sambo" was Indian not African. There are no Tigers in Africa. :) There is an operational Lil' Sambo's in Lincoln City, Oregon.
