One of my employer's harebrained, I mean, countercyclical entreprenual endeavors is selling last minute gift items at mall kiosks right before Christmas. One dreadful day last December all of our sales staff was down with the flu. I had to man the kiosk which was near the kiddie merry-go-round. The sound system was screwed up and played "Polly Wolly Doodle" over and over again at an extremely loud volume (Barney the Purple Dinosaur's version). I darn near hyperventilated.
