Old comic book ad - General Tiki

Most definitely referring to Gardner McKay. The copy reads so funny because they obviously were avoiding to name the actor or the show for rights issues. I am sure Hawaiian Eye's Tiki had an equally hypnotic effect. There you have it: TV fosters paganism!
