as I hate to tut my own horn, I have to say this...... As someone who has had an event joined with M Modern in the past. (TIKI CALIENTE -M MODERN'S 5 year anniversary show) I am very good friends with Jay and MiShell from M Modern who were looking down town for the first Shag Shore.

But the fact was this.....

in my opinion........and not loved by the modernism group from Palm Springs.

Down Town is DEAD and TOO MUCH MONEY for the location because of the whole historical significance aspect of Palm Springs.

I told Jay from M Modern to look at the storage area next to my job at Trio (707 Palm Canyon) to Put the first Shag Store.

First of all.....

we have an average of over 300 people on any weekend night .

Plus..... all the mid century furniture shop"s surround us.

Plus,... 1/4th the rent

Please stop by modernism weekend were I will be bartending the Shag lunch party at TRIO and Drinking at the the Tropics Art show later that night.

Keep'in TIKI alive!!!!!!!
