M msteeln Member Ka'a'awa, HI Joined: Mar 24, 2008 Posts: 296	M msteeln Posted posted on Thu, Feb 11, 2010 7:32 PM My 'McGarrett moment' included him pulling up in this Merc next to the 160' schooner I lived on in the 70s and getting out looking like a 5-0 God before a shoot that morning across the Aloha Tower parking lot at Pier 7 and extending his hand to me (which I knew he was usually loathe to do!) as I worked, with a smile and wanting to talk boats for a minute. Nice guy for a surprise. Got a few secs of the boat in the show too. Heard once, he got in this car and flipped out smelling ciggy smoke, and had the entire interior torn out and replaced.
