And because of the facelift, AA 2.0 was a big resource-hog, and would produce "skips" on the transfer as the file was interrupted by the program itself. Both Audacity and Audition have sets of echo-filters, which are fun to work with. A few albums I've transferred, I keep one original and rework a copy through with a touch of echo or with deeper bass, and with a slight feeling of guilt often like the outcome more than the original.
