Ignore that person who spends all their free time leaving lame ass comments on every thread because they have no life :) As far as being out of work : Use craigslist but Google jobs in your area . For example if I googled "A/R jobs in San Francisco" Google popped up with 4-6 different job search sites that I never would of found elsewhere. I seriously searched about 10 sites non stop for weeks applying to anything that I was qualified for. A paid site that some friends have had luck with is http://www.HOUND.com. Here is another site : http://candidate.datafrenzy.com or try http://www.usajobs.com to try to work for the government which is actually hiring despite the state being broke! To help put being out of work in perspective: http://www.cnn.com/2008/LIVING/worklife/12/15/cb.jobless.experience/index.html It really helped me after I was laid off to focus on other things in between the job hunts. My advice don't stress...seriously...looking back at all my sleepless nights and depressed days was such a waste of time. You will find something...it is the only ending to being unemployed after all. I wish you luck and will try to pass along any other sites as I can find them. [ Edited by: leleliz 2010-03-05 10:44 ] |
