I found this 5 minute video of semi-legendary guitarist Del Casher - innovator behind the Vox Wah-Wah pedal - that deserves a wider audience. It is just Del, his guitar, and a bottle of Captain Morgan's rum. (and no, I don't believe it is apple juice) It's the best endorsement for Captain Morgans rum - or any rum at all - that I can recall. What's even better, is that Del Casher had direct contact with the amateur tiki scene around 1960 - while working as a L.A. studio guitarist, he rented the back house of a home that did have a tiki theme to it ...... you can read about that on these two pages Vern |
