I have yet to make it to Viva. I go to Vegas every November for the SEMA show, so twice a year is hard to pull off. I'm hoping maybe next year. How's the Rockabilly scene near you? It has really shrivelled up here, in Boston, in the last couple of years. Ten years ago, we had a great scene with a bunch of good bands: The Raging Teens, The Racketeers, The Bourbonaires, The Speed Devils, etc. & we had many national acts coming to town, but lately it's been really lean. Have fun in Vegas. Maybe I'll see ya next year.

Bought the book on Amazon, last night. Can't wait to get it. I already see some folks I know, even though I'm on the East Coast & she's in Chicago, and I'm already jealous of their pads.
If you happen to be going to Viva Las Vegas, Jennifer will be signing books
from 2-4 at the car show. i can get ya more info if ya need!
yer killin me with naming those bands!!!! they never would get out to seattle. way too far away, but I'd get to see them in Vegas, and in Indiana at the Rockabilly Rebel weekenders~!!!!
Vegas is a hoot, and really not that spendy if you make a weeklong vacation out of it.
maybe next year you can come out! it really is a rockin fun time. crazyness ensues!
we are still doing pretty good up here, have a few locals, including my best friend Marshall Scott Warner, The Roy Kay Trio (and Combo) Billy Dwayne and the Creepers, and a few western swing bands- The Rainieros, Rachel Mae, and a few others. We get Wanda Jackson here often, and just had Deke. kinda a chore to get Big Sandy, but it happens sometimes and a few folks from really far away. and we have the Shake the Shack rockabilly ball every september. I think this year will be in the years of the 20's. I lost track, but it's longer than viva, Indy, and Hemsby I think!
Lemme know if you every wanna come up. there is usually something every weekend!
