The contemporary hook is exactly that...not too Hawaiian looking to me but more of a MOD look maybe. Still captures the TikiMango sense of thinking out of the box though...nice. The medallion is to die for! Just beautiful carving there...a macro treasure and a whole new genre of Poly-Pop art I suppose. It could be hung by a jewelery finding secured from the top - you know, something from the Fire Mountain Gems catalog - a thin wire w/ toggle loop at the top either glued or mounted in a small drill hole and glued. The more I think about it though, a set of five or six of those would make KILLER BUTTONS for a vintage Polynesian suit jacket :o - Just a thought!!
