However, I'm not sure whether I used Grade A or B maple syrup. It's Safeway Select brand, from Canada (but doesn't say anything about grades). Looking at wikipedia (always dangerous, I know) it appears the grades have to do with darkness--this is somewhat dark, but I think closer to Grade A Amber than the really dark Grade B.
