Why am I suddenly thirsty for a mai tai SF style? I REALLY hope the changes are for the better and not the generic. If any changes had to be made, I would suggest a more casual oceanic art filled atmosphere like the Palo Alto Vic's. Either way, I will continue to support this fine tiki institution and will visit as often as I can before the hiatus. Mahalo to everyone involved with Trader Vic's Emeryville.
