In this case it is also the tradition of Trader Vic :) : I think it is better that new Tiki reincarnations use classy vintage art than trying something new and failing. The "transmission tradition" has always been part of Tiki culture. Wonder if they got that from Mimi's website... The bum used it in his new tome.
