The Museum was established to house the extensive collection of Hawaiian artifacts and royal family heirlooms of the Princess, and has expanded to include millions of artifacts, documents and photographs about Hawai‘i and other Pacific island cultures. Thanks for getting us the straight story. I think I got a 'C' in Hawaiian history. Anyway, the point is that the museum was established in a manner that is very linked to, and respectful of Hawaiian culture, so I don't see why this particular institution should be faulted.
