Fallon did the song as Niel Young. I missed Idol, and I saw Fallon's version first, and thought , "Great Neil Young imitation, but what's with those lyrics?" Then I found out what the parody was about. But, I find myself weirdly drawn to the the faux Neil Young version, and every time I watch/listen to it, I'm stuck with it, for days.
