A good day for yours truly too...and a real hanky-grabbingly sentimental one. I have a good friend back in my hometown I haven't seen in years. We were chatting on the phone a couple of months ago, and he paused a bit and suddenly announced he was going to do a bunch of thrifting there for me, as I'd been bitching about the difficulty of finding anything very cool in Vancouver. Well, here's the stuff, arrived today by Greyhound. One of the nicest things anyone's ever done for me.

Some nice Joes to complement my collection. the "hitchhiker's foot" is stamped copyright '63.

Yer basic monkeypod tray, will look good on our teak coffee table.

Near-mint TV's of Hawaii, and mint Al Harrington.

Last but not least, novelty Moai lamp. Used to be a techie-looking Ikea in that spot, but it's in the closet now; make a commercial out of THAT!
