The advise on this thread is epic and spot-on. I am a long time collector of tiki, but a neophyte to the community of tiki. I just got home from Hukilau and I made friends with folk...whether they wanted to be friends or not! I danced like a fool, swam under the spell of a midnight moon, drank rum until I was perspiring simply syrup, goofed on all things tiki and made sure I always had someone alongside to enjoy the moment. Watchout, TC folk. I WILL be at other events and I will be making friends with you too!!! Can you manage a little Vince Martini?
