Been there as long as I can remember. The Timex family were good friends with Thor Heyerdahl, and have some of his artifacts & info on display in the museum that the Moai guards. Its worth a quick visit. the museum is like 2/3rds times & watch history, and 1/3rd Polynesian. Oh, and you cant really get close to the moai, he's behind a fence & they get PISSED if you climb it. :wink: |
