Just saw the episode...a couple of observations:

  1. Rebecca repeatedly referred to their new house as "my house." i.e. 'I just don't see this tiki bar in MY house." David is either whipped or wasted...probably wasted having to listen to that vooyccce of hers. How annoying...his name was David, wasn't it?

  2. David was obviously pissed when he saw his custom made tiki bar heading off to charity. I just loved how the show hosts laughed as they discussed "who would want this" when they loaded it onto the truck. Hopefully it found a good home.

  3. The only tiki items that I saw in the new home were a couple of masks that were hung in a corner somewhere. In Davids old house he had several tiki statues on the mantle over his fireplace. What happened to those? I'm sure the painted mask was tossed in the chipper.

  4. I have to say that the new house was very nicely done, but definitely more to her taste than his.

Overall, I thought the show totally sucked. Not just because of their issues with tiki. For a show that's supposed to be reality there seemed to be an awful lot of acting..and OVERacting...my God, gimme a break. It was totally ridiculous.

I'm off to the Merge web site to vote some more and maybe leave some comments in their forum. And yes...at the moment I don't have anything better to do.

Aloha
