And some of the software suggestions look reasonable. I may try Swanky's suggestion of SoundForge since his transfers sound great. I'm not looking to do a professional grade job, just be able to play some of the stuff I really like in the car or throw it on my CD player instead of babysitting a turntable all the time. KG
