Builder and owner David Cohn was hoping to relocate the building and restore the Polynesia to its full glory. That never happened, the building was burned for fire department practice. When I spoke with Cohn in 2002 he couldn't recall where the interior contents had been stored. It's highly likely it was all dumped or sold in a scrap sale but I like to think there's some dusty unused loft in one of the many old warehouses in south Seattle...
