They sent me a section of the 3" board and a piece of the 3" molding, it's a very stiff high-density foam, (you can't crush it with your hands), and it looks very authentic! You could probably cut this with just about any cutting tool you have, although it might be a bit too hard for a razor-knife...a fine-tooth saw would be perfect! You can even sand or file this stuff very successfully. It's about $64 for a 2x4 sheet and you can choose 3" Giant, 2" Large, or 1" standard bamboo...it also has excellent insulating properties and can be ordered in a fire-rated version for commercial use. :wink:
