I still would love to hear the story of purchasing these items at Disneyland.

My wife's family went to Disneyland for the first time when she was 1 or 2 (1965 or 1966). They saw the clothes in one of the gift shops and thought it would be fun if the whole family got an outfit. I think my father-in-law was looking for the ones with the brown background - but that style wasn't available for the kids that day. He mentioned that the clothes were fairly expensive for the time, but too neat to pass up. Anyway, they all went to the Enchanted Tiki Room dressed in tribal skull splendor and sang along with the "birdies". They went back to Disneyland for a second visit and made it to the Tiki Room again. Her mother thought the clothes were so great she saved them all these years. They were only recently rediscovered after her Mom passed away this January. We hope to one day come across some photos of the whole family dressed up in Tiki finery - but have had no luck so far. Only one of my wife as a child sitting on a keg of dynamite rafting across the river to (I think) Adventureland.
