The Kon Tiki at the Portland Sheraton (now DoubleTree Lloyd Center) opened on September 27, 1959, three days after the hotel itself opened. The Kon Tiki closed in 1980 or 1981. The space is now conference rooms and the "business center" for hotel guests. This picture showed up on lostoregon.org.
