Yhanks Big T and Amate. I would be more than happy to share; however I hope the master carvers don't banish me to the woodpile. I really did try to carve these out and then apply stain but I wasn't patient enough. I also make kids chairs and customize them by painting, or draw names pictures etc. on top of the wood. I applied this idea. In this case I ended using a fine sharpie marker (I know, most of you are cringing!) to apply after the stain and then covered with spar urethane
