I'm wondering if anyone else has had trouble with the pump. The fountain just turned two years old, and my pump has finally quit. It's been humming, but no actual pumping, so I'm looking for a replacement. It seems distressing, because all the pumps on finding are plug-in type pumps, and nothing to tie into the battery housing on the fountain. That might be a good thing because as noted, the battery life is about 20 minutes. Another note for all those contemplating the purchase of one of these fountains, and one that I wish I had been made aware of before I bought it. This fountain is sound-activated. In other words, you won't have a continuous stream of fountain enjoyment without an occasional hand clap or whistle.
