I was born into a surfing family in Huntington Beach. I've always thought of "surf" being fun in the sun and "tiki" as what takes place after dark. I don't know or care how burlesque got thrown into the mix, but I'm glad it did - it's fun too. Burlesque, rockabilly, tiki, surf, hotrods, lounge, etc are all a good time to me and I will continue to mix and match for good times as long as I care to. I read with interest people's history and knowledge of the past - but that is just that - the past. We're here now, enjoy the present time and culture with a healthy respect for the history of it all. teresa
