I spent the weekend in Darkest Taranaki (New Plymouth), looking for Pacific Islands stuff in second-hand stores.

Things didn't quite turn out as expected. The only item from the islands that I found was this nice piece of tapa:

And I found this North American cushion:

The other finds were more parochial.
