Forget the calendar: Summer's not over until Jet Set Planet says it's over.

Join host Glen Leslie for 90 minutes of the best in Exotica to celebrate the Last Night of Summer, Friday September 24th, from 9:00 - 10:30pm CST. He'll be doing his best to keep the tiki torches burning one more night! You can stream it on your laptop at http://www.kfai.org/jetsetplanet or for the Iphone/Ipod touch, you can tune in with this little app http://appshopper.com/entertainment/kfai-fresh-air-radio-unofficial-radio-app

You'll hear from the famous Exotica practitioners as well as from the lesser-knowns -- with a handful of hacks thrown in for good measure. ALSO new Music from the Boston-based Mr. Ho's Orchestrotica Quartet and tunes from 21st Century practitioners of Hollywood Polynesia. PLUS I'll have a number of rum-soaked cocktail recipes for your consideration. But the real highlight of the evening will be the playing of "THE HIDDEN ISLAND- A Compelling Story of Love's Secret Moments and Tender Emotions" - a tour de force by David Janssen, Manny Kellem, and the Tradewinds Orchestra and Chorus.

So before the fall leaves fly, and Old Man Winter cranks up his sno-cone machine, bust out the booze for one more night of summer, on Jet Set Planet, Friday September 24th from 9:00 - 10:30pm on KFAI.

Be There, Aloha.
