When our family performed from 1965 to 1969, the times were turbulent with Vietnam; we saw many of the soldiers visit us before they shipped out. Two fellows by the names of "Leo" and "Shorty" owned the venue at that time, and I haven't a clue as to their whereabouts these days. There was also another great spot with which we reciprocated entertainment-wise: "The Polynesian Hideaway" in Brisbane, CA owned by Jim Long. The 3 dancers were the daughters, Jackie, Bobbie and Tina.
