My personal theory why TV was able to weather the Tiki Dark Ages has to do with the fact the food at TV is actually pretty good. A lot of places I could name closed because all they had were drinks. (No, I do not believe that Tiki food should be the "idiot brother-in-law" in teh Tiki pantheon...)
