I had what you said right. I was just wondering what Phil was seeing. It looks like I cut his name out when I quoted him. Sorry about that. "Same" is different than "similar" to me. I see them as similar, but not the same. You see them as similar, and not the same, like I did. I put the point by point so eyes untrained to the minute differences in similar carvings could see if they agree/disagree with
what I see/think. It was kind of wordy,so I figured most people woild skip over it anyway and get to the pictures.
I'd get a vintage surf trophy and glue it on to it. then I'd make a fake bronze plaque for it like "1st Place Rapa Nui Pacific Surf World Champinship 1955" for it. That'd be double neat! tiki and surf go together like tropical drinks and tiki mugs.
