Pdrake, Billy the Crud and I shared a booth and it was great to be among such artists!
I do have a funny story about one of pdrake pieces of jewelry. Although he didn't post a picture of it, he made a Flamingo. On Friday night this guy wondered into the event from Alberta and said he was killing time waiting for some friends (they all flew out for a buddies birthday from Canada!). He was looking at the Flamingo and said is this for a guy or gal? Perry replied it is unisex-a brooch for women or a lapel pin for men. He bought it and put it on his lapel and walked away happy. The next day he came back into the booth (Perry was at home making the Fez earrings) and told me that all night long he has been getting TONS of compliments! I said something like a friendly 'told you so!'. On Sunday night at the Mondo afterparty he and his friends showed up wearing vintage clothes that they bought at the event and the guy made a beeline to me and proudly stated "I wanna tell you, this Flamingo GOT ME LAID!!!!"
So there you go. Buy pDrakes jewelry. It just might get you laid! :)
