If you're calling it the Lava Lounge, then you want a deep, lava red colour on the walls, possibly even stained with magma yellow. You've already got a post-mid-century modern feel going there. Forget about the faux Polynesian restaurant bamboo trim - it's all been done before. Think "lava" + "lounge" instead. And you've already got that fantastic red lamp - now you need a room coloured to match it. My 10 cents' worth (the smallest coin in NZ). CN |
